About the site

This is a site dedicated my family, my career, and my well.. ME! Let’s start with a brief history of the site. In 2000 I began the site as a place to post my resume, pictures of my first born and anything and everything in between. In a nut shell, the site died mid 2001 due to me getting my first real job and raising a new born born baby. 2004 – The RESURRECTION. You may ask yourself why bring this site back. Well, that is a great question and I wish I had an answer for you. Maybe I have a lot on my mind, too much free time, or I want to share my life with the entire world. If you know me, you know those thing’s are crap. My mind hardly works anymore, I never have free time, and best of all no one in the world wants to read what I have to write. Enough crap already. Here is the site, please enjoy it and tell your friends about it. I’m sure there are millions who want to read about some nerd with the last name Bratetic and who lives in Omaha!

I wonder if they like me back?

Aimee – Aimee is my beautiful wife who keeps my life going in the right direction. She is the mother of my 2 wonderful children and the inspiration to most everything I do. Aimee has been in my life as long as I can remember. We have been dating for 10+ years and have been married for ??? well I think it’s going on 4 years. I could not imagine living life without her.

Gabriel – My oldest son. Gabe was born February 23rd, 2001. What can I say about Gabe? He is smart, creative, stubborn, fun, crazy, great, and sometimes a little bad. There are to many words to explain Gabe, he is the most loving kid you will ever meet. Between riding his very own Dirt bike, playing baseball, basketball, skateboarding, biking, or Playing playstation, Gabe still finds time to make our family laugh.

Gavin – My youngest son. Gavin was born on November 15th, 2002. Since his birth, Gavin has been my little mini-me! He is my twin that was born 25 years later. Gavin is a pork chop who enjoys everything his brother does and then some. He is 100% a momma’s boy and is slightly spoiled. He is now names Yoda

Gus – Coming to a store near you! Gus was born on July 23, 2005. He is little, dark, and hairly. Gus is a crazy handful of a kid who will love you with all his heart

Nomi – My Boxer Doggie Number 1. Nomi was our first child, well almost, she was Aimee and I’s out first responsibility together, she turned out so good we decided to have children. Thank God that the kids to run away outside like she does.

Rocco – My Boxer Doggie Number 2. Rocco is a 1 year old puppy who is a little slow, but loves to run and itch. I have never knew a dog that had allergies and itched at much as Rocco. All in all, he is the man dog of the house

Pink! – The queen b of the house. She is a mom, a boston terrier, a snulger and my daughter

Yoda – Yeah, we have another dog. He is a pain, but I kinda like him

About Me

Let’s start simple, my name is Kevin Bratetic, I was born on August 3 1977 in wonderful Omaha Nebraska. My life includes designing web sites for small to medium sized companies look for great designs at a fair price for my freelance design studio 2am:creative. The 8 till 5 working day is spent being the a Web System Specialist at Farm Credit Services of America.

If I’m not working on a computer I enjoy spending all my time with my wife and kids or riding my Husqvarna Dirt Bike while driving my kick ass FJ cruiser. Other than that I’m a simple person, who enjoys life… except when bills are due or when my wife is mad at me.

My life in a nutshell:

1977: is was born

1996: graduated high school with a baseball scholarship to Iowa State

1997: became home sick… Just kidding, Out of state tuition was really expensive so I transferred to Bellevue University. That is when I became a computer nerd.

2000: Got married to Aimee

2000: Graduated with a BS in Computer Information Systems

2000: Began working as a Web Designer at Cyzap Inc.

2001: Gabe was Born

2001: Switched Jobs to Global Netwatch

2002: Started my life as a Vente employee

2002: Gavin was born

2004: Working to much, Still poor, Getting Fat, Losing my hair and I think my wife hates me…

2005: Still chunky, Got a new job at Farm Credit Services of America, Happier, and Aimee still hates me

2006: Had a great year with Farm Credit, started riding my dirt bike and still think I love life. Aimee said she dislikes me! We are making Progress!

2007: Yep, Farm Credit is cool, the kids grew up, we have a new dog named PINK, Aimee is back to hating me.

2008: A tree feel on the house, My daughter was impregnated, we adopted one of the puppies named him Yoda, Aimee is falling for me. I think
